Talking to Dan Viet reporter, Mr. Hong said: Realizing that the locality has abundant raw materials from the forest, in 2014, he decided to buy land to open a 10,000m2 peeled wood workshop in Cau Ngam hamlet, Tan Khanh commune. By 2015, due to the efficiency of the peeled wood workshop, his family bought an additional 7,000m2 of land to expand the scale of plywood production.

Along with that, from the 90s until now, he has been a pioneer in planting forests in the locality. Since then, his family has always maintained an area of 17 hectares of planted forest. Previously, if the wood was sold, with that forest area, every 8 years, his family would earn about 3 billion VND. However, since the construction of the factory, the entire forest area has been used to provide raw materials for his family's wood peeling factory.

In addition, to have enough raw materials for production, Mr. Hong also buys wood and boards from mountainous provinces such as Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan and Dong Hy district.
In 2021, Mr. Hong's family officially established a forestry processing and manufacturing enterprise. Up to this point, some of the company's plywood products are not only consumed domestically but also exported abroad.
In addition, Mr. Hong also plans to invest in more machinery and buy more land to expand production, aiming to produce high-quality products and standard industrial wood products for export to foreign countries such as Japan and Korea.
Currently, Mr. Hong's family's wood peeling workshop is creating jobs for nearly 100 local workers with a stable income of 7.5 - 12 million VND/person/month.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Vo - Chairman of Tan Khanh Commune People's Committee said: Mr. Hong's family is one of the households that has had the mindset of developing forest economy very early. Realizing the economic efficiency of the forest, Mr. Hong's family invested in machinery to open a workshop to produce peeled wood and plywood.
This is one of the economic development models that brings high economic efficiency in the locality. Therefore, the locality also has a direction to propagate and support people to develop the economy in this direction in order to replicate many similar economic models.
