According to the latest statistics from Metric.vn, Vietnamese consumers have spent nearly 4 billion USD shopping online in just the past three months, with nearly 1 billion products sold on major e-commerce platforms.

According to Metric.vn, total spending in the third quarter of 2025 reached more than VND103,600 billion, up 22% over the same period. The three most purchased product categories were beauty, home - living and women's fashion . Apple led the technology group with revenue of more than VND2,500 billion, up 72%. The average value of each product increased sharply. Notably, although only accounting for a small number, genuine stores contributed more than 1/3 of sales.

Metric predicts that in the last 3 months of the year, online shopping demand will continue to grow thanks to super promotional campaigns on double days 11-11, 12-12 and the year-end shopping season.

"With the explosion of livestream, flash sales and investment in delivery services, Vietnam's e-commerce sales could reach VND105,000 billion, equivalent to 1.069 billion products sold, up 1.35% and 8.14% respectively compared to the previous quarter" - Metric predicted.
