The homeowner in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, built a spacious, four-bedroom house in a quiet suburban location with plenty of greenery to replace their old house, which was near the city center and was cramped and noisy.

The new house sits on a 6,000m2 plot of land (260m2 built area) with a gentle slope of about 12 degrees, offering views of the Dong Nai River and the majestic Dai Binh mountain.
The environment here is very clean, quiet, and cool, with many old fruit trees.

Each element in the house meets the basic needs of a family of five (parents and three children) while also offering unique artistic value.
Architect Tran Ngoc Thach and his design team created a building with a sculptural form to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape and nature.

The proposed solution involves freeing up the column structure and minimizing the ground-floor walls to allow greenery to penetrate deep into the building, as well as limiting interference with the soil foundation.

The interior spaces are always ensured with ample light and air circulation through openings such as glass doors and skylights.

The living room, dining room, and bedrooms are arranged to face south and southwest to take advantage of the valley views with their beautiful scenery and the Dai Binh mountain 2km away.

The main highlight of the building lies in its load-bearing structural system, inspired by bridge girders.
The architect minimized the impact on the ground while giving the building a free-flowing floor plan with unique and aesthetically pleasing shapes.

The house utilizes a predominantly bright white color scheme, combining natural materials such as washed stone, granite, glass bricks, and natural wood to ensure users always have the best possible experience of closeness, emotion, and connection with nature.

Glass doors and windows are installed on all four sides of the house, providing light and ventilation to all rooms including the living room, dining room, and bedrooms.

The architect also used a circular glass roof to allow natural light to shine down to the ground floor, ensuring that the kitchen, laundry room, and ground-floor toilet are always filled with natural light and creating a unique and interesting lighting effect.
To enhance the landscape, the homeowner planted several fruit trees and colorful flowering plants around the house.
