Handing over 4 houses to poor households from international funding

From September 8 to 10, volunteers from Korea directly painted the walls before the houses were completed and handed over to 4 poor families in Hien Luong commune. This is an activity within the framework of the project "Supporting funding for eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses and volunteer labor" connected by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Center (KCCC), Korea, mobilized from Incheon International Airport Corporation. The total sponsorship value is 592 million VND.

Representatives from Incheon International Airport Corporation presented funding for house construction to four families.

The families participating in the project were carefully selected by the People's Committee of Hien Luong commune; all are poor households with difficult circumstances. In particular, the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong is a war invalid, and his wife has a severe disability. Each family received 130 million VND to build a house and was also provided with assistance for painting the walls.

Korean volunteers directly painted the walls of the family's house as part of the project.

This is one of the projects initiated by the Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs, actively responding to the emulation movement "Phu Tho joins hands with the whole country to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025"; it also serves as evidence of the good friendly cooperative relationship between the people of Korea and the people of Vietnam, contributing to enriching the picture of people-to-people diplomacy between the two countries.
