The house was empty, the eldest son was at work, the youngest was far away, his wife had Parkinson's disease so taking care of him was extremely difficult; his condition was very serious, sometimes unconscious, sometimes awake. He had been hospitalized several times and when he recovered he was released, but this time was the most critical...
MC Quynh Hoa: For the past month, musician Pham Dang Khuong has not been able to eat or drink.
"Yesterday, when singer Hong Mo came in, he still recognized her, but when I went to visit him, he was in a daze. I heard that for the past month, he hasn't been able to eat or drink anything and has to have a tube inserted to pump food into his stomach. According to information from his family, he has pneumonia, multiple organ failure, diabetes, and a number of other underlying diseases, so his health is extremely poor... In the past, he was strong, constantly researching and learning, composing music, filming, writing books, painting, now he just lies in one place, has a tracheotomy to breathe, and weighs only 30 kilos... I feel so sorry for him...", MC Quynh Hoa said tearfully.
A close colleague, musician Nguyen Ngoc Thien, added: "In June, Khuong went to the US and got sick there. Over 60 years old, all his organs were exhausted, but Khuong was so passionate about his work.... After 20 days in the US, he went to film in the morning and came back at night to edit the film continuously. He suffered from insomnia, so his health was so weak that he had to be hospitalized. The doctor in the US offered 80,000 USD, so Khuong had to try to return to Vietnam... Having suffered two strokes in Vietnam, he is now in such a serious condition. The hospital is using medicine to expel water, keep his lungs and heart healthy... so he only weighs 30 kilos. I also used that medicine and went from 70 kilos to 50 kilos... I just hope Khuong recovers quickly...".
Musician Nguyen Van Hien shared that he heard that Pham Dang Khuong was seriously ill but could not visit him because his colleagues said he was in intensive care and so visits were limited.

After two strokes, the musician's illness is getting worse, and he has to be fed through a tube into his stomach.
