These days, from the central streets to the remote and border villages of the province, flags and flowers are brightly colored to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. All classes of people in the province are wholeheartedly looking towards the Congress with faith and expectation for a new development stage of their homeland.

Expect breakthrough decisions

On the eve of the province's important political event, people of all ethnic groups in the area expressed their trust in the Congress. Everyone shared the same belief in the Party's leadership and the correct and strong decisions in the new term to bring the homeland to rapid and sustainable development.

Mr. Min Pha Khay, a prestigious person of the Co Lao ethnic group, Tan Tien commune, shared: “We strongly believe that the Congress will make new decisions for sustainable development of rural areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority areas. In particular, focusing on improving rural infrastructure, creating conditions for people to have better access to basic social services; supporting people to develop the economy , reduce poverty sustainably, and at the same time focusing on preserving and promoting the cultural identity of each ethnic group”.

For farmers, the biggest wish is that the Party Committee continues to have mechanisms and policies to support sustainable production development. Mr. Vuong Van An, Thuong Nong commune said: "We really hope that the superiors will continue to implement mechanisms and policies to support farmers in developing strong crops and livestock, suitable for climate and soil conditions, in the direction of concentrated commodity production.

Support people in implementing high-tech agricultural models associated with processing and product consumption links so that farmers can feel secure in production and avoid the situation of “good harvest - low price”. Plan production areas based on the strengths of each region such as fruit growing areas, high-quality rice growing areas, orange growing areas, tea growing areas, etc.

These days, the union members and young people - the future owners of the province - are also following every piece of information about the Congress. They believe in the leadership of the Party and hope that there will be more policies to support start-ups and create jobs for young people, so that young people have more motivation and opportunities to rise up. Mr. Ma Van Giang, Yen Hoa commune union confided: "We really hope that the Party committees at all levels will continue to trust, create conditions and give clear directions in the activities of the Union, support young people to access preferential credit programs, digital transformation and participate more in local socio-economic development programs".

Before the major event of the Provincial Party Committee, the business community hopes that there will be innovative policies, creating a favorable investment environment, supporting businesses to confidently invest, expand production and business. Ms. Ly Mui Muong, Deputy Director of Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative (Thong Nguyen Commune) said: "We really hope that the Congress will issue practical policies to support businesses and cooperatives to develop, such as credit capital, land fund, investment procedures. Especially in the promotion and consumption of products. With the support of the government, we will be confident to expand production, create more jobs for workers, and contribute more to the overall development of the province."

Hoping that the new term will have more good policies for workers, Mr. Luong Viet Huy, from Tuyen Quang LGG Garment Corporation, said: “In the context of staff cuts and economic fluctuations, we hope that all levels and sectors will step up their attention to taking care of workers' lives. Continue to implement programs such as: "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ket", "Worker's Month", "Trade Union Shelter", promptly support union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Leaders of trade unions at all levels continue to promote dialogue at the workplace, improve the quality of negotiations, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements, ensuring that there will be more and more agreements that are more beneficial to workers".

Building a government close to the people

The cadres and civil servants - those who directly implement and execute the Party's Resolutions and policies - are especially interested in innovation in leadership, direction and administration. They want to have strong reform solutions to help the apparatus operate effectively, close to the people, for the people.

Ms. Phan Thi Ha, Specialist of Bang Hanh Commune Public Administration Service Center, expressed: "This is the first Congress after implementing two-level local government, so we hope that leaders at all levels will have innovation in leadership methods, arranging staff to ensure capacity, suitable expertise and profession, thereby contributing to building a modern, professional, and people-oriented administration."

Along with the people, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province also put their full faith and hope that the 1st Provincial Party Congress will be a great success and propose many policies to help the province develop quickly and sustainably. Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tuyen Quang province, said: "I hope that in the new term, the government apparatus will continue to closely follow the grassroots, care for and improve the lives of the people, including Buddhist followers; consistently implement policies on beliefs and religions, and strengthen the great national unity bloc. In addition, I also hope that the Congress will propose solutions to do a better job of preserving Buddhist historical and cultural relics, preserving and promoting the province's tangible and intangible cultural heritages."

Putting all their trust in the leadership of the Party, the people of all walks of life are looking forward to the 1st Provincial Party Congress with great expectations, hoping that this will be a Congress of innovation and solidarity, creating a strong impetus for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to start a new term with many brilliant achievements.
