PVF-CAND vs Ninh Binh performance
PVF-CAND and Ninh Binh are both new recruits who have just entered the V.League. However, the fates of the two sides are completely opposite. While Ninh Binh has been invested in a systematic and thorough manner, aiming for ambitious goals, PVF-CAND's presence in the top domestic playground has been like... falling from the sky!
Due to Quang Nam’s last-minute withdrawal, the replacement spot was originally given to the runner-up team in the First Division, Binh Phuoc. However, this team decided to decline due to lack of proper foundational preparation. The opportunity was later given to PVF-CAND, who finished third.
Initially, the Hung Yen -based team was hesitant because of the short time available to recruit new players, find foreign players and upgrade facilities. But in the end, the team was determined to play to the end.
PVF-CAND did not set the criteria of participating in V.League just to have enough food or accumulate experience. The team under coach Thach Bao Khanh was assigned the task of staying in the league.
Thanks to that, the whole team always enters the field with a high fighting spirit, relying on the youth of the talented team that has grown up from PVF, and adding the experience of foreign players who are familiar with the domestic arena.
After about 1/3 of the season, PVF-CAND has somewhat proven that they are not an easy "newbie" to bully. After 7 rounds, the team based in Hung Yen has only lost 2, drawn 4 and won 1, temporarily ranked 8th, creating a 3-point gap to the second-to-last position (must play a relegation play-off).
The home field is still becoming an important support point on the journey to find a ticket to stay in V.League of coach Thach Bao Khanh and his team. In 4 times hosting guests since the beginning of the season, the home team has been unbeaten, with 3 draws and 1 win.

However, it is also important to note that PVF-CAND's past guests are not big names, just SLNA, Da Nang, HAGL or Thanh Hoa, who are struggling at the bottom of the table. Therefore, Ninh Binh promises to bring a completely different experience and challenge for Thanh Nhan and her teammates.
Not only a phenomenon, Ninh Binh has truly proven that it can conquer the pinnacle of glory. The team of the ancient capital Hoa Lu has never tasted defeat, with 6 wins and 2 draws after 8 matches since the beginning of the season.
On the journey to the top of V.League, the team under the direction of coach Gerard Albadalejo has defeated formidable opponents such as Nam Dinh or Hanoi FC. Before round 8, Hoang Duc and his teammates are temporarily 2 and 3 points ahead of the 3 opponents behind.
The away team currently has the most effective attack, with 17 goals, 3 more than the team ranked 2nd in terms of scoring. Not to mention, the "guns" of the ancient capital team are also very diverse, every position is ready to score. From the defenders like Quang Nho, Thanh Thinh, to the midfielders with Duc Chien, Hoang Duc, Geovane or the front line: Daniel, Rodrigues, Gia Hung.
