Want to go back home to find a job
With the desire to return to his hometown to settle down and be close to his wife and children, Mr. Nguyen Nam Son in Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district returned from Korea. For many months now, he has been looking for job opportunities in his hometown, but with the mechanical engineering major he trained in Korea, he has not yet found any suitable recruiting unit. This time, through the media, Mr. Son learned that WHA Industrial Park will recruit up to 12,000 new job positions, including many businesses specializing in mechanical engineering. Mr. Son said: I think with the salary of 7 - 15 million VND that businesses publicly announce at the booths, if workers do not have to pay for lodging and eat at home, this is an ideal salary for workers in Nghi Loc district and neighboring areas.

After consulting with recruitment agencies here, Mr. Nguyen Nam Son said that he had applied for an interview with a unit that needed up to 500 workers this time, with salaries for skilled workers starting at 12 million VND. “With my research, I know that this is a large-scale production unit, with orders imported to countries like Korea, Japan, etc., so the work will run smoothly, and workers will not have to worry about a lack of work,” said Mr. Son.

Like Mr. Son, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi in Nghi My commune, Nghi Loc district used to work in many places from the South to the North, ... but because she had to go far away, she did not have much money saved. Ms. Hoi said that now she received recruitment information at an industrial park near her home, so she decided to return to find out if there was any suitable unit. "Having worked far away for many years, now that I am old, I want to return home to be close to my family," Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi added.

In addition to workers working far away, students from vocational schools such as Vinh Industrial - Handicraft College, Vinh Technical Pedagogical University, Nghe An University, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, Viet Duc Vocational College; College of Digital Economics 1 ... also came to the festival with the desire to learn about recruitment needs, the needs of new professions that are being prioritized by employers. Nguyen Tuan Anh, a student at Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, said: I am studying automotive technology and hope to work in a company near my home with a good salary in the future. I see that businesses are mainly recruiting unskilled workers and not many automotive engineers, which makes me a bit worried. I hope there will be more job positions for skilled workers in automotive technology like us.

According to statistics from the Department of Labor and Employment of the Department of Home Affairs, up to now in Nghe An, there are up to 700,000 workers working outside the province and nearly 100,000 workers working abroad. Therefore, the task of helping workers "leave their farms and not their hometowns" is of special interest to departments, branches and localities.
The second job fair was held on April 27 with the participation of 15 enterprises in WHA Nghe An Industrial Park, with a recruitment demand of up to 12,000 jobs, including both unskilled and trained workers. The recruitment positions have attractive and stable incomes with many preferential policies; professional working environment, many promotion opportunities, focusing on industries such as: electricity, electronics, auto parts, machine manufacturing, garment...
Organizing a Job Fair is one of the very important and practical measures, opening up many job opportunities for workers who are looking for jobs in traditional and new-generation production fields right in their hometown of Nghe An; it is an opportunity for workers working far away to have the opportunity to grasp and learn directly about the working environment in their hometown, thereby having more choices of suitable positions and jobs. Besides, the event is a very practical activity, helping students get useful information to orient their "job - vocational training" in the future.
Mr. Le Tien Tri - Head of Southeast Economic Zone Management Board
Strengthening supply-demand connection
The second Job Fair in 2025 on April 27, is an event following the success of the first Job Fair at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park (in February 2025) as part of a series of tasks and solutions to implement Directive No. 33-CT/TU and Project No. 40-DA/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in connecting labor supply and demand, solving employment, attracting labor for domestic enterprises and FDI enterprises in Nghe An province, in the period of 2025-2030, towards building a healthy, progressive and truly effective competitive labor market; building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

Having a booth participating in the job fair, Gaojia Optics Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. has 100% investment capital from China, specializes in manufacturing optical lenses, and hopes to find potential candidates, especially young people who are enthusiastic and eager to develop their careers and dedicate themselves to the company for a long time.
“Participating in this Job Fair, we are recruiting 1,500 job positions, with a variety of forms, from general labor to technical positions and management staff. We not only provide stable job opportunities but also opportunities for long-term self-development for employees through training programs, clear career paths and a professional, dynamic working environment.”
Mr. Cao Du Phong - Director of Gaojia Optics Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien - leader of WHA Group and WHA Industrial Zone Joint Stock Company: In the next 3 years, the recruitment demand at WHA Industrial Park will grow strongly in many manufacturing sectors. In 2025, 12,000 workers will be needed; in 2026, 15,000 workers will be needed and in 2027, 15,000 more workers will be needed. In 2025 alone, with many large factories coming into operation, the factories are in need of 2,000 office workers and technically trained workers, especially nearly 10,000 unskilled workers. Job opportunities are wide open for those who are willing to learn, disciplined and progressive. Ms. Lien also said that WHA is committed to continuing to accompany schools, training centers and local authorities to ensure that workers not only have jobs, but also have a career and a future at WHA Industrial Park.

However, to effectively connect supply and demand, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long affirmed: The success of the first Job Fair in 2025 with more than 42,000 job vacancies offered and more than 12,000 workers connected to jobs is a vivid demonstration of the effectiveness of the three-party coordination model between: Government - Enterprises - Training institutions.
Therefore, to continue these successes, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long said: It is necessary to perfect the three-party coordination mechanism in career orientation, student orientation, linking training with the actual needs of the labor market; especially in key areas such as: electricity, electronics, mechanics, information technology, automation engineering, foreign languages and soft skills. Moreover, businesses need to develop appropriate compensation policies, focusing on a civilized and safe working environment; Identify employees as valuable assets, in order to have appropriate compensation policies.
