Preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam were carried out early, seriously, closely following the directives of the Ministry of Education and Training , the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with local conditions. In particular, this year's exam has new points: Organizing for candidates following the 2006 and 2018 General Education Programs in the same session, arranged at separate testing locations. From 2025, priority points will not be added for vocational certificates, IT certificates, foreign languages ​​or intermediate vocational degrees when considering graduation recognition. Candidates with valid foreign language certificates will be exempted from the foreign language exam. This year's exam will be transferred in a new way, through the encrypted transmission system of the Government Cipher Committee...

The exam took place on June 26 and 27, divided by program: The 2006 General Education Program had 4 sessions, the 2018 General Education Program had 3 sessions... The whole province had 21,261 candidates registered, of which 20,767 candidates took the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program, 494 candidates took the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program. It is expected that there will be 48 official exam sites and 1 backup exam site, with 1,053 exam rooms (an increase of 2 exam sites compared to 2024); mobilizing about 3,900 officers and teachers to participate in the exam work...

After listening to the representative of the Department of Education and Training report on the preparation for the exam, along with comments and discussions from members of the steering committee, representatives of departments and branches, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy highly appreciated the preparation work and emphasized: The high school graduation exam in recent years in An Giang province has achieved quite good results, reaching the "top" of the country, leading the Mekong Delta region and good coordination in organizing the exam to ensure absolute safety are points that need to continue to be promoted.

This year's exam has many new points, it is recommended that newspapers and radio stations widely propagate so that people can understand. It is recommended that member units of the Steering Committee coordinate closely, fully implement assigned responsibilities; coordinate with other sectors to ensure the exam is safe, serious, and in accordance with regulations. People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities direct their affiliated units to coordinate with the education sector to review and support candidates in difficult circumstances, ensure favorable conditions for eating, living, and traveling, create favorable conditions for the organization of the exam, ensure security and safety of exam sites, support the Department of Education and Training in transporting and handing over exam papers to exam marking locations, etc.
