The conference was chaired by Colonel Tran Huu Nhan - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council.

According to the report of the Provincial Military Service Council, the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025 was carried out strictly, the quality of military service continued to be improved. The whole province assigned 1,791 citizens, ensuring 100% of the target (military service: 1,401 citizens, People's Public Security: 390 citizens). Of which, the number of official party members joining the army increased by 0.22%; health category 1, category 2 increased by 2.64%; high school education level increased by 0.05%. Citizens volunteering to join the army increased by 0.99%, children of officials increased by 0.08%, civil servants increased by 0.21% compared to 2024.

Regarding the direction for 2026, the province will continue to recruit soldiers according to the recruitment process of "rounding the process, recruiting people with certainty", minimizing the compensation rate after re-examining new soldiers. Sending official party members to join the army to reach 1% or more of the military recruitment target. Focus on recruiting young people who are civil servants, public employees, and children of officials into the Army, not allowing "blank communes" in military recruitment; closely direct the selection and calling of citizens to join the People's Public Security service according to the prescribed criteria.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Tran Huu Nhan - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council emphasized that in order to complete the military service target in 2026, Party committees and authorities at all levels must lead and direct the development of a tight implementation plan, in accordance with procedures and regulations. Promote the dissemination of the Law on Military Service, well implement the Army's rear policy and other policies when soldiers return to their localities.
