The "Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week aims to contribute to preserving, promoting and spreading the tradition of great national unity; honoring the rich cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups; organizing practical and meaningful cultural, sports and tourism exchange activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

The event also aims to affirm the spirit of national solidarity as a precious cultural heritage, forged through thousands of years of history of building and defending the country; demonstrating the lasting value of the close bond between ethnic groups in the cause of building, protecting and developing the Fatherland, especially in the current period of industrialization and modernization of the country.
The week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" will have many meaningful activities and events such as: Opening program, the 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival scheduled for November 21 with the participation of about 1,000 people.
The program to promote and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends on November 21 will introduce an overview of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, and the outstanding cultural connection achievements of the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups in preserving, promoting and promoting traditional culture through videos with English subtitles and narration.
Along with that, the National Great Unity Day at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village took place on November 18 at Village Festival Yard III, Ethnic Village Area III.
Here, the cultural colors of ethnic groups are introduced with the space of 3 village clusters associated with the cultural highlights of 16 communities that are active daily; cultural and sports exchanges; traditional crafts of ethnic groups are introduced with interactive performances by local artisans and tourists.
In addition, from November 21-23, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, there will be a regional cultural exchange program, folk song exchange, folk dance, folk games of the Southern ethnic groups (Can Tho and Vinh Long); introduction of Don ca tai tu art, traditional Khmer craft and art; introduction of dances and songs on the temple towers about the cultural colors of the Cham ethnic community; performance and introduction of Bau Truc pottery art - an intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO...
