Many attractive activities in Vietnam-Korea Festival in Da Nang

From August 1 to 3, at East Sea Park, the People's Committee of Da Nang City coordinated with the Korean Consulate General in Da Nang to organize the Vietnam - Korea Festival 2025. This is an event to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The festival aims to strengthen the relationship and enhance exchanges and friendly cooperation between Da Nang city and Korean localities and partners. At the same time, it promotes economic , cultural, tourism and trade development and strengthens the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Korea.

This year's festival has many meaningful activities, in which one of the main events is the first time the Conference "Meeting Korea in Da Nang : Opportunity to enhance cooperation between Da Nang and Korean partners" was held and took place successfully.

Through the conference, Da Nang and Korean partners looked back on the cooperation achievements in the past time, and exchanged and discussed new, practical and effective development directions in the coming time.

Lasting for 3 days, mainly held at East Sea Park, the Festival program includes many rich cultural exchange activities such as exhibition of typical products of Vietnam and Korea, cooking competition between the two countries, K-pop dance class, Taekwondo class, and especially art exchange performances between artists of the two countries.

In addition, there are more than 80 booths, introducing typical OCOP products of Da Nang and major Korean brands. It promises to bring interesting cultural and sports experiences to residents and visitors.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Festival, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, shared, “Since 2022, Korea has always been the largest international tourism market of Da Nang City. In just the first 7 months of 2025, the city has reached a record of 1 million Korean visitors - a number that not only reflects the outstanding attraction of Da Nang, but also affirms the strong friendship between the people of Vietnam and Korea.”

The Da Nang City government hopes that the Vietnam - Korea Festival 2025 will mark the beginning of a new era of development, opening up prospects for extensive development of the cooperative relationship between Da Nang City and local governments and Korean partners./.
