The above information was announced by General Director of Vietnam Television (VTV) Nguyen Thanh Lam at the launching ceremony of VTV's health, nutrition and children's education program "For a healthy Vietnam - For Vietnamese stature". The event took place on the afternoon of October 24 in Hanoi.
The program system includes 3 programs: "For Vietnamese stature", "Nutrition for Vietnamese people" and "Little flowers - Tween Garden". This is also a series of key programs of VTV implemented in the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development and Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health.

According to General Director Nguyen Thanh Lam, for Vietnam Television, the implementation of Resolution No. 71 and Resolution No. 72 is not only a political task, but also a journey to realize the aspiration to develop Vietnamese people comprehensively - healthy, intelligent and compassionate.
“At its deepest level, television is the bridge between the Party’s will and the people’s heart, between policy and life. As a national media agency, VTV always considers bringing the spirit and determination to implement the Party’s resolutions into life as its central mission, expressed through practical, close and useful programs for the community. The three programs launched today are concrete steps to fulfill that mission: Together spreading knowledge, health and love to every Vietnamese family.”

“If “For Vietnamese Stature” and “Nutrition for Vietnamese People” aim to nurture the physical and mental strength of Vietnamese people in the journey of healthy living – scientific living, “Little Flowers – Tween Garden” has a more special meaning. It is the return of a television icon that has been associated with the childhood of many generations of Vietnamese audiences. We want to affirm that, in the process of innovation and rearrangement of the program schedule, VTV not only looks to the future but also cherishes the values of the past – “reviving” programs that have sown seeds of humanity, knowledge and joy of life”, General Director Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed.

The program “Nutrition for Vietnamese” airs on VTV1 channel at 1:00 p.m. every Saturday, starting from the end of 2025, the program accompanies people on the journey of “Eat right – Drink right – Live healthy”, providing scientific, authentic, easy-to-understand and familiar nutritional knowledge. The program emphasizes the importance of nutrition throughout the life cycle – especially the “golden” period of 2-12 years old, when 86% of height and physical foundation are formed.
The program “Little Flowers – Tween Garden” airs on VTV3 at 6:50 p.m. every day from November 3. The program is a space for active learning, playing, and living for children aged 8–12, with a theme each day: Creativity, discovery, movement, connection, music, and cooking, helping children develop comprehensively in terms of physical, emotional, and personality.
