To specify solutions and tasks to implement the resolutions of the Youth Union congresses at all levels, the Youth Union organizations in the province have been actively organizing meaningful and practical activities in the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign (VYC) 2023.

“Drink water remember the source”

Inculcating the moral of “When drinking water, remember its source”, Tan Uyen City Youth Union has just organized the journey “Tan Uyen Youth - Continuing the story of peace ”, visiting Vietnamese heroic mothers. During the journey, Union officials and Youth Union members visited and presented gifts to 4 Vietnamese heroic mothers in Thanh Hoi commune, Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Vinh Tan ward and Tan Hiep ward.

In Dau Tieng district, the District Youth Union coordinated with the District Young Doctors Club and the District Medical Center Youth Union to organize the journey "Following the footsteps of heroes". The district Youth Union units visited the homes of Vietnamese heroic mothers, kindly inquiring about their health and daily life; at the same time, examined them, gave them medicine and presented them with 6 gifts.

Participating in the trips to visit the heroic Vietnamese mothers, the Youth Union cadres and members of the Youth Union were able to talk, listen to their advice and were even more excited to see the mothers healthy, with smiles, eyes and love for their children and grandchildren. This is a regular activity of the Youth Union in the province toeducate about tradition, patriotism, national pride and infinite gratitude, expressing gratitude to the previous generation who sacrificed their blood and bones, contributing to the revolutionary cause of the country.

Rural beautification

One of the key activities of the Youth Union in the 2023 Summer Youth Campaign is to build new rural areas (NTM). Joining hands to build advanced NTM in Tam Lap commune (Phu Giao district), the Provincial Youth Union, Phu Giao District Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises coordinated with Youth Union units to carry out many youth projects in the locality, such as the "Community Sports Playground" worth 20 million VND, the project of 20 trash bins worth 10 million VND and the project "Lighting up the countryside" worth 20 million VND. In addition, the Youth Union units also took care of students in difficult circumstances and presented 10 gifts worth 5 million VND.

The Bac Tan Uyen District Youth Union has also coordinated with the Thu Dau Mot University Youth Union to carry out the "Green Summer" volunteer campaign in 2023. In Tan Dinh commune, students and youth union members participated in the road leveling project worth 25 million VND; carried out the "Lighting up the countryside roads" project worth 15 million VND; gave gifts to poor households, policy families and disadvantaged students with a total value of 10 million VND.

According to the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, not only in the Summer Youth Union Campaign, the activities of building new rural areas are regularly carried out by the Youth Union at all levels in the Youth Union's work and annual volunteer movements. The youth in the province have been promoting the spirit of volunteering to renew and repair rural roads, light up rural roads, build charity houses, etc.

Implementing the resolution of the Youth Union congresses at all levels for the 2022-2027 term, the Youth Union also has solutions to support rural youth in economic development and application of science and technology in agricultural production, contributing to building advanced new rural areas...
