Ninh Thuan has prosecuted and investigated 13 cases/30 defendants of corruption cases.

On March 28, the Central Internal Affairs Commission announced that the Central Internal Affairs Commission's working delegation led by Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission worked with the Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity and judicial reform.

On the side of Ninh Thuan province, there were Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; provincial leaders, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of a number of provincial agencies.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission - acknowledged and highly appreciated the Party committees and authorities at all levels of the province for paying attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, negativity and judicial reform in 2023, contributing positively to the socio -economic development of the province.

In particular, the province has paid attention to implementing and disseminating well; issuing many documents to lead and direct internal affairs, prevent and combat corruption, negativity and judicial reform.

Internal affairs and judicial reform have received attention from leadership and direction, contributing to maintaining political and social stability and creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development.

Especially pay attention to directing the resolution of mass, complicated, and prolonged complaints and denunciations; and cases and incidents related to security and order.

Along with that, the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity has been given attention, including solutions to prevent, detect and handle corruption and negativity. The activities of the Provincial Steering Committee for Preventing and Combating Corruption and Negativity have been organized and effective.

The investigation, prosecution and trial of corruption and negative cases have received attention from leaders and direction (13 cases/30 defendants have been prosecuted and investigated; the Procuracy prosecuted 7 cases/17 defendants; the Court tried 8 cases/21 defendants).

Regarding the upcoming tasks, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee to perform well the following tasks:

In particular, continue to pay attention to leadership, direction, dissemination and strict implementation of the Central Committee's directives, resolutions and conclusions on ensuring security and order; direct timely and effective handling of emerging issues related to ethnicity, religion, sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces... to avoid forming "hot spots", to avoid being passive and surprised...

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission also proposed strengthening state management, inspection, supervision, and control of power, tightening discipline and order in areas prone to corruption and negativity; controlling power in judicial activities, and preventing wrongful convictions.

Focus on directing the removal of difficulties and obstacles, further speeding up the investigation progress, and thoroughly handling corruption and negative cases in the area, especially those related to personnel to prepare for the personnel of the Party Congresses at all levels in the next term.
