Efforts to construct a nearly 1,500 billion VND traffic project in Ha Tinh

(Baohatinh.vn) - The Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road project extending to the East (Ha Tinh) with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND is being accelerated by units based on efforts to remove obstacles in terms of land.

In mid-September, at the construction site of the Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road project extending to the East at the intersection with Mai Thuc Loan road, in Thanh Sen ward (Thach Hung ward, old Ha Tinh city), the construction atmosphere was bustling. Dozens of officers, engineers, workers along with many locomotives and equipment of Joint Stock Company 484 were operating continuously at the construction site.

Engineer Nguyen Van Duc - Commander of Joint Stock Company 484 said: The unit is in charge of constructing 3 km of the main route of the project. Up to now, 1.7 km of the site has been handed over. The contractor has removed organic soil, treated weak soil with sand, anti-sink drains and constructed K98 foundation.

According to engineer Duc, in recent times, Ha Tinh has often had rain, affecting the construction process. As soon as the weather was sunny, the ground was dry, and the water gradually receded, the contractor focused on machinery and human resources to "make up" for the progress.



At the Rao Cai River overpass project, the construction process is also being accelerated by Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company 492.

The Rao Cai River overpass project is 350m long, consisting of 8 spans, 2 abutments, 7 pillars with a total construction value of about 150 billion VND. Up to now, the contractor has completed pillar T2 and is constructing the body of pillars T3, T4 and T5.

According to engineer Nguyen Duc Thang - Project Manager of Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company 492, the geological foundation in the Rao Cai River area is not too complicated. However, during the project implementation process, the unit always calculates and proposes appropriate construction plans to speed up the progress.

With the bridge piers located in the middle of the river, the contractor used barges for the pile drilling process.

The weather these days is quite harsh, however, the workers still try their best to ensure the assigned work.



At the construction site of the Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road project extending to the East in Thach Lac commune, the construction atmosphere is equally bustling. Each block of leveled soil and construction sand is transported by truck to the foot of the construction site.

The project section through Thach Lac commune is basically agricultural land. Up to now, the entire site has been handed over to the investor and contractor. The contractor has completed the removal of organic soil, filling the K98 foundation, treating weak soil with sand and anti-sink drains.

The Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road project extending to the East is 6.65 km long, reclaiming more than 371,000 ^m2 of land of all kinds, affecting 708 households and 4 organizations. To date, 237 households have been approved for compensation with a total cost of over 45 billion VND.

The land that cannot be handed over is mainly concentrated in Thanh Sen ward (Thach Quy ward, old Thach Hung ward). The main problem is due to overlapping land records, some certificates are issued in wrong locations, many plots have been flooded or documents have been lost. Particularly, Con Co area with an area of ​​over 122,000 ^m2 has been completely flooded, turned into an aquaculture pond, leading to difficulties in compensation for site clearance.

From now until the project must be completed, there is only 1 year left. The Provincial Traffic Construction Investment and Urban Development Project Management Board is coordinating with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and Thanh Sen Ward authorities to remove obstacles and promptly hand over the entire site.

Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street extends to the East with a total length of 6.6km, starting at the intersection with Nguyen Cong Tru Street, Thanh Sen Ward and ending at the intersection with National Highway 15B in Thach Lac Commune, Ha Tinh Province.

The project is invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction and Urban Development Project Management Board with a total investment of VND 1,498 billion; the project implementation period is from 2023 to 2026.

The road has a roadbed width of 70 m; road surface width of 21 m; sidewalk width of 10 m and designs; green tree strips on both sides of the sidewalk are 9 m wide; median strip is 30 m wide.

This is an important route, connecting the center of the old Ha Tinh city, now Thanh Sen ward with National Highway 15B, opening up development space to the East.
