Recently, social networks have witnessed the phenomenon of People's Artists such as Thu Ha, Lan Huong, Meritorious Artist Viet Anh and young faces appearing in promotional videos for feng shui eyebrow tattooing.

The list of participating names is extremely long and diverse, such as People's Artist Thu Ha, Lan Huong; Meritorious Artist Nguyet Hang, Meritorious Artist Chieu Xuan, Meritorious Artist Viet Anh; MC Thanh Bach, MC Thao Van, Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Thoai My, director Le Hoang or singers Ngoc Son, Ung Hoang Phuc, Duy Manh, actors Doan Quoc Dam, Luong Thanh... and many other faces.

The fact that so many artists are participating in the same type of advertising has raised the question among the public: Is this an organized marketing campaign or simply a natural trend?

The most notable thing about this "fever" is the suspiciously consistent content of the promotional videos . Most of them follow the same "script": the artist is "diagnosed" with facial defects such as "missing eyebrows in the wealth palace", "not touching the marriage palace" leading to "loss of wealth"... Then there are the flowery promises of "changing fate", "attracting wealth" and "increasing luck on the face".

Beauty salons have been extremely clever in exploiting the images of prestigious artists. With a large number of fans and high trust in the public, the presence of famous artists not only helps increase brand recognition but also creates a "quality guarantee" effect.

When seeing familiar faces on screen appearing in commercials, many viewers easily believe that the service is really effective. This is the psychology of "admiring idols" exploited in a sophisticated way.

In addition, these establishments also use beautiful and attractive names such as "Ngoc Phuc An Tho", "Moc Xa Hung Thinh", "Phong kiem phuong vu" or "Phuc tai vuong an" are names for eyebrow styles. These names not only sound "luxurious" but also hit the Vietnamese psychology of wishing for luck and fortune.

Combined with self-proclaimed titles such as "Top 1 Vietnam", "exclusive" or "advised in detail by the most knowledgeable fortune teller", these establishments have created a promising vision of success and wealth. Notably, the use of words such as "first" and "only" without supporting documents may violate the provisions of the Vietnamese Advertising Law.

Behind the eyebrow tattoo advertising story, when asked, many artists revealed surprising truths. People's Artist Lan Huong affirmed that she only accepts advertising and does not really do anything to her face: "I am an artist so I do not agree with 'plastic surgery' or any other impact on my face. I want to keep my face natural and be able to play the roles of old and ugly people. Sometimes I just go to the doctor to apply a mask and exfoliate to make my skin healthier. Even though many units invite me to advertise beauty products, I only let them perform without doing anything for real...".

Singer Duy Manh also frankly admitted: "I don't do my eyebrows or lip tattooing according to feng shui as people often say. If just doing my lips and eyebrows would make me richer, everyone would rush to do it. I advertise that place so that anyone who wants to be more beautiful and confident can go and do it, it's that simple." These confessions show that most artists only play the role of "advertising actors".

The fact that so many artists appear in the same type of advertisement has created a "viral" phenomenon on social networks, leading many to believe that this is a carefully calculated marketing campaign. These videos not only appear sporadically but are also posted densely in a short period of time, creating an "information storm" effect. This makes social network users constantly exposed to advertising content, thereby increasing the ability to remember and creating an impression of the "popularity" of the service.

The public reaction to this phenomenon is also remarkable. On social networks, people are interested and believe in the effectiveness of the service, especially fans of the artists participating in the advertisement. However, many people express skepticism and indignation about whether the artist advertising eyebrow tattooing to change fate, attract wealth and luck is considered to be aiding and abetting fraud.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has advised people to be cautious with advertising information with the content: Changing fate, helping to improve luck and fortune, using images of famous artists, modern technology along with attractive promotional programs of feng shui eyebrow establishments when the information about the establishment's operations is unclear, there is no scientific verification related to feng shui, it is easy to fall into superstitious activities causing many serious consequences.

The fact that Vietnamese artists are "racing" to participate in advertising feng shui tattooing not only reflects the development of the beauty industry but also raises many questions about professional ethics and social responsibility of celebrities. In the context of increasingly diverse and complex information, educating consumers on how to choose safe cosmetic services, based on scientific grounds rather than unrealistic promises of "changing destiny", becomes more urgent than ever.
