Female vice principal beaten by teacher and hospitalized at emulation review meeting

TPO - The female vice principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten (Phu Quoc, Kien Giang) was recently disciplined for allowing a teacher to beat a child, and now she has been beaten by a teacher at the same school and has been hospitalized.

On the morning of May 26, speaking with Tien Phong reporter , Mr. Pham Van Nghiep - Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee said that the authorities are verifying and clarifying the case of Ms. NTBT - Vice Principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten being beaten by a teacher from the same school and hospitalized. The relevant parties have been invited to work, the authorities also extracted images from the camera to verify the incident. "Right or wrong, the police will investigate and strictly handle according to regulations," said Mr. Nghiep.

Vice Principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten was beaten by a teacher right at an agency meeting.

Vice Principal NTBT presented that on the morning of May 24, Duong Dong Kindergarten held a meeting to evaluate and classify staff for the school year, with the participation of the Board of Directors and teachers of the entire school.

During the meeting, there was a mention of the incident of a teacher beating a child that caused outrage in March (the school leaders and teachers involved were disciplined by the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City). At that time, the female teacher LTKD suddenly stood up, claiming that Ms. T. had posted the clip of the incident online.

Then, Ms. D. approached and threatened Ms. T. in the abdomen in front of the people attending the meeting. Seeing this, some teachers intervened.

“Because of the pain from the beating, I couldn’t go home by myself and had to call my family to take me to the emergency room. The whole incident was recorded by a camera. My family reported it to the police, requesting that they handle the intentional infliction of injury,” said Ms. T.

Ms. T. is being treated at Phu Quoc City Medical Center.

Previously, as Tien Phong reported, last March, at Duong Dong Kindergarten, an incident occurred where a teacher used his hands and a strange object to hit a child. The clip of the incident was later spread on social media, causing outrage among parents and the community.

After clarifying the child beating incident, the People's Committee of Phu Quoc City disciplined the Principal of Duong Dong Kindergarten - NTH and Ms. NTBT - Vice Principal; due to lack of inspection and supervision of the classroom, failure to promptly detect and report, allowing anti-educational behavior to occur in the school.

Four other teachers involved in the child beating incident were also disciplined with reprimands for violating professional ethics and procedures.
