Mr. Ho Van Nien was assigned and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee.

On October 2, the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work. Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung chaired the conference.

Mr. Ho Van Nien was assigned and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Also attending were Party Central Committee members: Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang; Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van; Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Dao Ngoc Dung and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

At the conference, Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Ho Van Nien, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, was assigned and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Ho Van Nien, 50 years old, Ba Na, from Gia Lai, has a bachelor's degree in Law. Mr. Nien was Secretary of Dak Po District Party Committee (2010); Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee (2013); Standing Deputy Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee (2015). In June 2020, he was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee. On July 1, 2025, he was appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
