This morning (October 2), Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to transfer, assign, and appoint Mr. Ho Van Nien, Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions , to hold the position of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Secretary and participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 5 for the 2025-2030 term.
According to the Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Mr. Ho Van Nien is assessed by the Politburo as a capable and experienced cadre in Party building work, with a scientific mindset and working method. During his work, he has always been assessed as having completed his tasks well, being the nucleus and center of solidarity.
Emphasizing that this transfer demonstrates trust and continues to implement the policy of arranging the Provincial Party Secretary to be a non-local, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung asked Mr. Ho Van Nien to immediately get to work, together with the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee to effectively implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, Ho Van Nien, stated that the Politburo's assignment of him to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee was a great honor for him personally.
Quang Ngai is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, with an important strategic position, unique culture and loyal people, full of aspirations to rise up. Mr. Ho Van Nien promised to always maintain political mettle and moral qualities; set an example, stay close to the grassroots, and unite with the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Ho Van Nien hopes to continue receiving the attention and leadership of the Central Government; the support of departments, ministries, branches, other provinces and cities; especially the help of generations of leaders and cadres of Quang Ngai province - those who have a deep understanding of the land, people and development potential of the province.
Mr. Ho Van Nien (born October 15, 1975), from Gia Lai, has a bachelor's degree in law and a senior degree in political theory. Mr. Nien is an alternate member of the 12th Central Committee and a member of the 13th Central Committee.
Before being mobilized, assigned and appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Mr. Ho Van Nien held the position of Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council. Mr. Nien also held the positions of Dak Po District Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.
