Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.

On the morning of October 19, the Central Propaganda Department held a Conference to deploy the Decision on personnel work for the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.

At the Conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia presented Decision No. 2918-QD/BTGTW appointing Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, from October 18, 2023.

Speaking at the assignment of tasks to the new Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia congratulated Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung on being trusted by the Party Committee of the agency to take on the new responsibility. At the same time, he affirmed that Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung is a well-trained cadre who has experienced many tasks, and regardless of his position, he always strives to complete the assigned tasks well.

Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia stated: In recent times, the Central Propaganda Department, with its role of advising and assisting the Politburo and the Secretariat in the field of propaganda, has successfully completed many key assigned tasks as well as many other breakthrough tasks related to theoretical, ideological, scientific and educational work...; in addition, it has also been highly appreciated by the Central Organizing Committee in building the organization and apparatus of the propaganda system at all levels.

After careful preparation and high consensus through each step, the Party Committee and leaders of the Central Propaganda Department decided to appoint Mr. Dung as Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.

Congratulating Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung on his new position, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia believes that the new Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper will continue to inherit and promote the achievements of the previous generation, making the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper increasingly develop, worthy of being the voice of the Party, State and people on the Internet.

At the same time, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department hopes that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Cong Dung will continue to fulfill his new responsibilities, continue to develop the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper to its full potential, and meet new requirements and tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung expressed his emotion when the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department trusted him and assigned him a new task.

At the same time, he also expressed his determination to unite with the staff and reporters of the Newspaper to strive to complete all assigned tasks, determined to build the Newspaper to become more and more modern, multi-media, meeting the requirements of propaganda tasks in the new period. He hoped that in the coming time, the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department would continue to pay more attention and help so that the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper can develop further.

Comrade Nguyen Cong Dung was born on November 25, 1967 in Ha Dong, Hanoi .
Professional qualification: PhD in Political Science ; political theory qualification: Advanced.
During his career, he held the following positions: Captain of the Military Political Academy, Ministry of National Defense ; Major, Lieutenant Colonel of the Youth Department of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Lieutenant Colonel, Senior Lieutenant Colonel of Cinema of the People's Army, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Arts, Chief of Office, Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.
From January 2011, he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper; from January 2012 to June 2023, he was Permanent Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper; from July 1, 2023 to October 18, 2023, he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.
