Mr. To Hai ceased to be General Director at Vietcap Securities

(Dan Tri) - Mr. To Hai resigned as General Director of Vietcap from November 18, but is still a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Vietcap Securities Joint Stock Company (stock code: VCI) announced the appointment of Ms. Ton Minh Phuong as General Director from November 18, effective for 5 years. At the same time, the company dismissed Mr. To Hai from the above position.

Although he resigned as General Director, Mr. To Hai is still a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Ms. Ton Minh Phuong was the Managing Director of Investment Banking at Vietcap before being appointed to the new position.

Mr. To Hai has been with Vietcap since the company was founded in 2007 and has held the position of General Director until now. The company introduced him as having in-depth knowledge in the field of corporate finance consulting and investment banking, and understanding of the stock market.

He received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and a master's degree in finance and banking from Australia.

He is also known as one of the experts with many outstanding achievements in providing consulting services on equitization, public issuance of securities, and financial restructuring.

Along with that, the company also appointed Mr. Tuan Nhan - CEO - as Deputy General Director from November 18, for a term of 5 years. Mr. Dinh Quang Hoan left this position.

In the third quarter, this securities company made a profit of more than 420 billion VND, double the same period last year thanks to brokerage and lending activities. Accumulated profit for the first 9 months reached 899 billion VND, up 30%.
