Mr. Vu Hong Van holds the position of Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee

On January 25, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Attending the conference were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; leaders of the Central Organization Committee, Central Inspection Committee , Dong Nai.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's Decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vu Hong Van, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and to join the Party Committee of Military Region 7, term 2020 - 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung congratulated the new Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and said that Mr. Vu Hong Van is a well-trained cadre with high professional qualifications, scientific, decisive and democratic thinking and working methods, highly appreciated by the Politburo and the Secretariat, and has made important contributions to the common achievements of the units and localities where he worked. The Politburo and the Secretariat believe that in his new position, Mr. Vu Hong Van will continue to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested that, immediately after taking on the new assignment, Mr. Vu Hong Van and the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee lead the implementation of the tasks set out by the Provincial Party Committee; focusing on successfully leading the organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the 12th Provincial Party Congress and reorganizing the apparatus.

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Vu Hong Van, thanked the Politburo for entrusting him with the important responsibility; this is an important milestone and a great honor in his work, and at the same time a great responsibility before the Party Central Committee, the Party Committee and the people of Dong Nai province. At the same time, he will inherit the fine traditions of generations of cadres and leaders in the province; strive, be dedicated, and promote revolutionary ethics and exemplary pioneering qualities; constantly learn, uphold the spirit of dynamism, creativity, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility. Always stay close to the grassroots, quickly grasp the situation, firmly uphold the Party's principles, together with the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the political system of the province, continue to build and firmly consolidate the great solidarity and unity within the Party.

Before becoming Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Vu Hong Van held many positions: Deputy Political Commissar, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security; Member of the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term, Party Secretary, Colonel, Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police; Member of the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020, 2020 - 2025 term; Party Secretary, Major General (June 2021), Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police; Member of the XV National Assembly; Director of the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security; Member of the Central Inspection Committee; Deputy Head of the XIII Central Inspection Committee.
