Finland wins Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024

Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2024 officially ended, with the final night themed "Future Pulse".

The Chinese representative opened the DIFF 2024 final night with a surprising performance many times better than what the team showed in the qualifying round.

Titled “Dazzling Da Nang”, China’s performance inspired the beauty and love for Da Nang, with groundbreaking music that combined the rich Chinese sound with the vibrant Western vibe.

The rhythm of the fireworks changes continuously through each segment, creating an emotional light show by Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display Co.

In contrast to the traditional but also extremely explosive quality of China, the Finnish team made the summer night in Da Nang much "hotter" with a modern and vibrant performance based on famous European and American songs and soundtracks.

Using about 10,000 fireworks, the Finnish team captivated the audience with their fireworks techniques both in the sky and underwater, creating extremely novel effects.

Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said: "The National Assembly has also issued a Resolution on the organization of urban government and piloted a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang. This is one of the political and legal bases, creating a breakthrough, opening up many mechanisms and policies, ensuring proactiveness, creating momentum for the development of Da Nang City. With this Resolution, we hope to continue to write new pages about the aspirations of Da Nang.

After tonight, the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will come to an end. But we will continue to meet and accompany each other on the upcoming development journey. Da Nang is always ready to welcome all of you with respect and hospitality."

With a top-notch performance that captivated the senses of the audience and the jury, the Finnish fireworks team won the DIFF 2024 championship, with the championship trophy and a prize worth 20,000 USD. The Chinese fireworks team won second place, with a prize worth 10,000 USD.

The Innovation Award went to the French team and the Audience Favorite Award went to the Italian team, with each award worth $5,000.
