Developing the charter market from Russia to Da Nang in the summer of 2026

DNO - On the morning of November 12, in Da Nang, the "Seminar on cooperation and development of the Russian charter market to Da Nang - Summer 2026" took place, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city in coordination with Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Van Ba ​​Son said that 2025 marks a successful season for visitors from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Direct charter flights from Astana, Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan) have been put into operation, with a frequency of 16 flights/week, contributing to facilitating tourists and promoting growth from this market.

Entering 2026, the city's tourism industry will continue to expand cooperation with airlines and strategic partners, in order to maintain increased frequency and diversify flight routes; including charter flights from the Russian and CIS markets.

The city will step up promotional activities and develop tourism products that suit the needs and interests of tourists; at the same time, improve service quality and experience, aiming for sustainable development and maintaining its position as a leading destination in the Central region.

Tao Dam announced plans to operate charter flights from the Russian Federation market and CIS countries to Da Nang in the summer of 2026, operated by Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited.

According to the plan, the Russia - Da Nang charter route will be deployed from April 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026, connecting with 14 cities including: Almaty, Astana, Blagoveshchensk, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Samara and Minsk.

The flights will be operated by Azur Air and Vietjet Air, using wide-body aircraft. The frequency of operations is expected to reach about 70 flights/month with an average number of 13,000 passengers/month and a stay of 10 nights or more.

In Da Nang, Anex Vietnam will cooperate with more than 110 2- to 5-star hotels to allocate accommodation rooms, meeting the demand for about 2,000 rooms/day during the operation period.

Key attractions include: Ba Na Hills, Marble Mountains, Son Tra Peninsula, Golden Bridge, Hoi An Ancient Town, and existing entertainment areas.

The seminar shared information with hotel partners in transparent cooperation, contributing to the development of a healthy competitive environment and the destination of Da Nang.
