Job fair for students, workers, and amnesty recipients in 2025

On the morning of May 12, the Provincial Employment Service Center coordinated with the Department of Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support (Provincial Police), the Provincial Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Guidance to organize a job fair for students, workers, and pardoned people in 2025. Attending the job fair were representatives of the Provincial Police, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Department of Education and Training.

In addition to 74 people who were pardoned and released from prison to reintegrate into the community, the meeting was also attended by students who are about to graduate from high school and workers in Phu Ly city. The purpose of the meeting is to help students have the opportunity to access information on the labor market, choose a study and career orientation that is close to their capacity and social needs; help workers be provided with diverse job opportunities, suitable to their qualifications and capacity, receive support to improve their vocational skills, and increase their competitiveness; help those who were pardoned and released from prison to reintegrate into the community in the province to access job opportunities, receive counseling and career guidance, grasp information about the labor market and choose suitable jobs, overcome inferiority complex, difficulties, and stabilize their lives.

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Criminal Enforcement and Judicial Support presented gifts to pardoned prisoners present at the job fair.

Representatives of the Provincial Police and Life Insurance Company presented gifts to people who had just been pardoned during the job fair.

At the session, the Organizing Committee invited 14 businesses to participate in direct recruitment. The businesses have a need to recruit 2,000 workers from unskilled workers to management and highly specialized positions with an income of 4.5 million VND to 15 million VND/month/person with social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance regimes. In addition, representatives of the Ha Nam Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies consulted and introduced student loan programs; preferential credit for subjects who have completed their prison sentences and special pardons for prisoners returning to their localities according to Decision 22/2023/QD-TTg, dated August 17, 2023 of the Government on credit for people who have completed their prison sentences.

This is the 7th job fair organized for pardoned and released prisoners who have returned to their hometowns to reintegrate into the community to participate in job searching and vocational training. Through 7 sessions, the whole province has had more than 1,000 people in this category have been approached, consulted and introduced to jobs, of which nearly 500 have found jobs.

On this occasion, the Ha Nam Branch of the Social Policy Bank and Bao Viet Life gave gifts and encouraged those who had just been pardoned and released from prison and were in difficult circumstances to attend the job fair.
