Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh chaired a meeting with the Standing Committees of the National Assembly agencies.

On the afternoon of October 3, at the National Assembly House, Party Central Committee member and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh chaired a meeting between the National Assembly leaders and the Standing Committee of the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees and the National Assembly Office on the implementation of a number of key tasks in October and the remaining months of 2025.

Attending the meeting were: representatives of the Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council and Committees of the National Assembly; representatives of the leadership of the National Assembly Office and departments, bureaus and units of the National Assembly Office.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh acknowledged and commended the Standing Committee of the National Assembly agencies and the leaders of the National Assembly Office, along with all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the agency for their efforts and striving to complete a huge amount of work in the first 9 months of 2025, achieving many outstanding results.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested that the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly thoroughly grasp and properly implement the spirit of Conclusion No. 3631 of the Chairman of the National Assembly at the National Assembly Leadership meeting on October 2; continue to deploy and complete the tasks assigned in the previous conclusions.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested that the Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee focus on leading and directing the completion of procedures, records and documents related to the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, to be submitted to the Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for signature; the Office of the National Assembly Party Committee coordinates with the Office of the National Assembly to organize a conference to deploy the results of the Congress and the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Regarding the preparation for the Tenth Session and meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the agencies of the National Assembly need to coordinate more closely and better to ensure service for the work of law-making, in particular, need to coordinate regularly to monitor the draft laws that their agencies chair the examination, if any problems arise, need to urgently report to the Chairman of the National Assembly, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly in charge and report to the National Assembly Standing Committee if necessary.

Regarding the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the agencies will carry out their assigned tasks to ensure progress, efficiency and economy.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested that the National Assembly agencies closely coordinate with the National Assembly Office to actively implement digital transformation in the agency, the movement "Digital Education for the People - Digital National Assembly"; apply information technology in serving the session; and request the National Assembly Office to continue to survey and deploy an information connection system with the People's Councils of the provinces.

The agencies also focused on advising on organizing the second joint meeting between the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee to review and agree on the content and program of the 10th Session; the Conference between the National Assembly Party Committee and Heads of National Assembly Delegations of provinces and cities before the 10th Session.

Seriously and promptly implement the conclusions at the monthly meeting of key leaders of the Party, State and National Assembly. Advise on continuing to implement on schedule the assigned tasks in the conclusions and resolutions of the Politburo, the Secretariat and Plan 56 of the Central Steering Committee on summarizing Resolution 18.

Regarding the preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office said that the agencies focused on advising and guiding the implementation of steps to review and supplement the planning of full-time National Assembly deputies and positions of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office for the 2021-2026 term and the 2026-2031 term.

Carefully prepare the content, program and conditions to ensure the organization of the 10th Session; conduct the examination of investment policies for national target programs, important draft laws and resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly at the 10th Session. Carefully prepare for the 50th Session of the National Assembly Standing Committee and other sessions of the National Assembly Standing Committee in 2025.

Continue to implement monitoring activities, focusing on completing the report on the results of the National Assembly's thematic monitoring on "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect"; complete and receive comments on the draft Report summarizing the work of the 15th tenure of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; coordinate in submitting the draft report summarizing the work of the 2021-2026 tenure of relevant agencies at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
