Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang pays tribute to Dien Bien soldiers

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7 (1954-2024), this afternoon, May 3, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang visited and encouraged soldiers, frontline laborers, and youth volunteers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign currently living in Gio Linh district, including: Mr. Ta Ngoc Oanh, Ward 9, Gio Linh town; Mr. Truong Quang Khoa, Mai Xa village, Gio Mai commune and Mr. Le Van Doan, Ward 4, Cua Viet town.

At the same time, it affirmed the sacrifices and great contributions of soldiers, frontline laborers, and youth volunteers of Gio Linh district in particular and Quang Tri province in general, which contributed to the historic victory of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Expressing gratitude to the Dien Bien soldiers of the past, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang requested that local Party committees, authorities and organizations continue to pay attention so that the families can have a better life.
