To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7th (1954-2024), this afternoon, May 3rd, Mr. Hoang Duc Thang, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, visited and encouraged soldiers, civilian workers, and youth volunteers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently living in Gio Linh district. These included Mr. Ta Ngoc Oanh, residing in Ward 9, Gio Linh town; Mr. Truong Quang Khoa, residing in Mai Xa village, Gio Mai commune; and Mr. Le Van Doan, residing in Ward 4, Cua Viet town.

During his visits, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang extended his best wishes for good health, presented gifts, and offered kind words of encouragement to the soldiers, civilian workers on the front lines, and youth volunteers.

At the same time, it affirms the sacrifices and great contributions of the soldiers, civilian workers, and volunteer youth of Gio Linh district in particular, and Quang Tri province in general, who contributed to the historic victory of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Expressing gratitude to the soldiers of Dien Bien Phu from the past, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang requested that local Party committees, authorities, and organizations continue to pay attention to ensuring that these families have a better life.
We hope that families receiving preferential treatment will continue to live happily and healthily, and continue to set a good example, upholding revolutionary traditions for the younger generation to learn from and emulate.
