Ambassadors' wives from various countries participate in the art program "Fragrance and colors of Vietnamese Ao Dai"

The art program “The Fragrance and Colors of Vietnamese Ao Dai” in response to “Ao Dai Week” organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union in collaboration with the Vietnam Ao Dai Club will take place from 7-9:30 p.m. on February 29 at Ho Guom Theater.

The program is a combination of singing, dancing, musical theater and sound technology, lighting, 3D screen visual effects, written and performed by the director team Quang Tu and Bao Ngoc. In particular, the program also has performances by the wives of ambassadors of the following countries: United States, Armenia, Morocco, Czech, Indonesia... The program "Fragrance and color of Vietnamese Ao Dai" includes 3 chapters: Pride of Vietnamese Ao Dai, Soul of Vietnamese Ao Dai and Quintessence of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

The program showcased the outstanding Ao Dai collection of designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam and more than 50 excellent designers from the North, Central and South regions representing nearly 10,000 students who graduated from the program "Cut and design Ao Dai", organized by the Vietnam Women's Union in collaboration with designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam - representative of SVF Academy.

The collections presented at the show were inspired by famous heritages, majestic natural landscapes of Vietnam; from national flags and special diplomatic marks between Vietnam and other countries.

In particular, the program is organized to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024), contributing to affirming the important role and value of Ao Dai in life, culture and society; arousing love, pride and responsibility to preserve and promote national cultural heritage, towards making Ao Dai become a Vietnamese Cultural Heritage and promoting the image of Ao Dai, culture, country, Vietnamese people in general and Vietnamese women in particular to become closer to many domestic and international friends.

More space to spread the beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai

On October 27, the opening ceremony of the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023 took place in Hanoi. With the theme "Discovering the beauty of Hanoi", the festival conveys the message of love for Ao Dai, the responsibility to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the nation.

Special "models" in Vietnamese Ao Dai

The wife of the US Ambassador to Vietnam, a Japanese diplomat, the daughter of Ambassador Elsavador to Vietnam... are the "models" presenting the collection "Ao Dai: Integration and Development" on the opening night of the Hanoi Ao Dai Festival 2023 on October 27.
