Designer Hoang Ly and her love for Vietnamese ao dai

Sharing at the ceremony, designer Hoang Ly said that the ao dai is a cultural symbol, the Vietnamese soul. So when she first started her career, many people discouraged her because they thought sewing was a hard job and not "fashionable", but with her love for the traditional ao dai, Hoang Ly was determined to pursue it because she wanted to preserve the ao dai - the cultural feature of the nation.

With her relentless efforts, perseverance, and overcoming many difficulties, up to now, designer Hoang Ly has had hundreds of her own ao dai collections. Some of them are Ninh Binh , Motherland, Time Mark, Tinh Hoa Viet, Tre Xanh - Imprint of Vietnamese Beauty...

The most memorable and proud of which is the Ao Dai collection Dau An Thoi Gian which has been recognized by the Vietnam Guinness Book of Records with 468 ancient patterns. Recently, designer Hoang Ly has launched the collection "National flower resounding around the world ".

The collection by Hoang Ly featured the national flowers and flags of 41 countries on Vietnamese ao dai and was performed to the background music of the mashup "Hello Vietnam" and "Aspiration for Peace" performed by People's Artist Vi Hoa and singer Du Thien, with the desire to send a message of peace, friendship and connection with five continents.

The collection “National flower resonates around the world” - an artistic journey to bring the Vietnamese Ao Dai to the international level. The collection brings together 41 designs, representing 41 countries on 5 continents, inspired by the national flower - a sacred symbol, crystallizing the identity and pride of each nation.

Each design of the collection is crafted on high-quality silk, using modern 4D printing technology, combined with hand embroidery, hand-painting, and crystal and sequin embellishment by artisans from the traditional craft village of Thuong Tin.

From the English rose symbolizing eternal love, the pure and proud Vietnamese lotus, the fragile yet enduring Japanese cherry blossom, the gorgeous and proud Dutch tulip, to the strong South African protea... All have blended together, creating a visual symphony spreading the message of peace, friendship and global solidarity.

“Not just a fashion collection, “National Flower Resounds the World” also conveys a cultural message: Vietnamese Ao Dai is a connecting messenger, bringing the quintessence of Vietnam into harmony with the beauty and sacred values ​​of the world.
