Ms. To Thi Minh, Thai Hoa II village, single, 80 years old, blind and unable to walk, for many years all daily activities and expenses have relied on the help of relatives and neighbors around. Sympathizing with Ms. Minh's difficult situation, from 2019 until now, through the "Love Rice Jar" program of the village Women's Union, she has been supported with 10 to 15 kg of rice/quarter, and on holidays and Tet, she has received gifts and money to encourage her. Ms. Minh emotionally shared: "For the past 7 years, I have received the full affection of the sisters in the village, this is a great source of encouragement to help me fight against illness and the sadness of old age". Visiting Ms. To Thi Minh and some poor women's union members' families who received help from the model, we can see the full meaning of this activity. After many years of implementation, the "Love Rice Jar" model has received enthusiastic response from many cadres and members, those who have rice donate rice, those who have money donate money. Thanks to that, the Women's Union of Thai Hoa II village regularly maintains 2-3 "Love Rice Jars" to give to elderly, lonely, sick members and children with special difficulties.
At the age of "not yet full, not yet worried", losing a loved one is a pain and a loss for any child. However, under the loving arms of "Godmothers", with timely material and spiritual care, it has become a support, a life buoy to help them somewhat ease the pain of losing loved ones and sadness, and gain more strength and faith in life. In less than 17 months, Pham Thuy Duong, class 9A, Quang Duong Secondary School, lost both her father and mother. In Duong's house, which seemed to lack the warmth and love of her mother, is now warmed by her second mother - monk Thich Dieu Trang, abbot of Dong Trai Pagoda. The monk took care of her until she was 18 years old, and also supported her with 2.4 million VND to help her buy school supplies on the occasion of the new school year.

With the spirit of "Where there are orphans, there are godmothers", based on a review of the entire commune, there are 83 orphans, including 14 orphans in especially difficult circumstances, the Commune Women's Union quickly connected and mobilized all resources from philanthropists and women's associations to implement the "Godmother" program. Right before the 2025 - 2026 school year, the Commune Women's Union coordinated with philanthropists to organize the awarding of 26 million VND under the "Godmother" program to orphans in especially difficult circumstances, in which the Commune Women's Union directly sponsored 2 children. The lowest support level is 1.2 million VND, the highest is 3.6 million VND/child/year.
