The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to give opinions on a number of submissions and policies for accepting projects in the province.

On the afternoon of November 17, at the Provincial People's Council - Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to give opinions on a number of submissions and policies to accept a number of projects in the province. Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial People's Committee Standing Committee, and members of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of contents: Policy on receiving projects in the province; draft minutes of cooperation of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on socio-economic development between Hung Yen province and Hai Phong city; report on authorizing the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level to decide on exemption and reduction of land use fees for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in the province; request for funding for detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 for land plots in Bac Thai Ninh commune of Hoang Oanh Group Joint Stock Company; report requesting the Provincial People's Council to issue a Resolution regulating the support mechanism for implementing social housing investment projects in the province; negotiation and signing of contracts with the winning investor to implement the golf course construction investment project in Quynh Phu district, former Thai Binh province, now in Ngoc Lam commune. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also considered and commented on a number of contents under the authority of the People's Committee such as: Submission on the proposal to approve the Provincial Industrial Promotion Program for the period 2026 - 2030; adjustment of the Decision to expand Hung Nhan Industrial Cluster; adjustment of the Decision to establish Dong La Industrial Cluster; additional funding for agencies and units submitted by the Department of Finance...

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy spoke at the meeting.

Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Duc Tai presented a report on requesting approval to accept projects in the province.

Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, spoke at the meeting.

After the delegates discussed, contributed opinions and concluded at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc answered and clarified the contents and issues that the delegates were still concerned about and had different opinions during the discussion and participation process. Regarding the Draft Minutes of Cooperation of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on socio-economic development between Hung Yen province and Hai Phong city, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted the cooperation between the two localities first in implementing key national projects and works, and noted to supplement the planning to ensure compliance with regional linkages. Regarding the content of receiving projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction to coordinate with agencies to conduct a comprehensive review of adjusted projects; for newly received projects, it must ensure compliance with the overall planning, urban development and new rural construction of the province.

Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Regarding the contents related to some regimes and policies, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review policies to have appropriate adjustment plans in the direction of new policies being better than old policies, applying local policies with higher levels before merging the provinces; the implementation of policies must be synchronous, not allowing the same locality to have two policies.
