In the 2025 university admission season, FPT School students graduating from high school will be directly admitted to FPT University, adding two new admission methods and new majors.

This is one of the notable new points in the 2025 enrollment method just announced by FPT University today, December 11.

According to the announcement of this school, in addition to the 3 methods that have been maintained for many years (including considering the results of high school student rankings on the website http://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn, considering the results of the High School Graduation Exam and direct admission), in 2024, FPT University will add a new admission method which is to consider the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University.

With the direct admission method, in addition to candidates eligible for direct admission in the University Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , FPT University also has its own regulations on 4 groups eligible for direct admission to the school. The first is direct admission to the language major for candidates with one of the certificates: English certificate TOEFL iBT from 80 or IELTS (Academic) from 6.0 or VSTEP level 4 or equivalent or higher for English Language major; Japanese certificate JLPT from N3 or higher for Japanese Language major; Korean certificate TOPIK level 4 or higher in TOPIK II exam for Korean Language major; Chinese certificate HSK from level 4 or higher for Chinese Language major.

Second is the candidate graduated from high school with a diploma issued by a foreign country.

Third, candidates who have graduated from one of the following programs: APTECH HDSE/ADSE program (for Information Technology); ARENA ADIM program (for Digital Design major); BTEC HND; FUNiX Software Engineering; Melbourne Polytechnic; High School Program (9+) at FPT Polytechnic; FPT Polytechnic College; FPT School students who have graduated from high school.

Fourth is the candidate has graduated from university.

Fifth, students transfer from universities with the most recent ranking in the Top 1000 in the 3 rankings: QS, ARWU and THE or schools with 5-star QS Star certification for training quality.

For the 2025 high school student ranking method, candidates need to be ranked in the top 50 in 2025 according to their grade 11 and semester 1 grade 12 transcripts (certified on the website http://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn) with the condition that their Math score and any 2 subjects' scores in semester 2 of grade 12 are from 21 points or higher.

The method of considering the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam will be based on the combination: Math and any 2 subjects, in which the math score is multiplied by a coefficient of 2. The specific admission score will be announced after the exam results are available.

Along with the addition of new admission methods and new direct admission subjects, in 2025, FPT University will continue to expand its training portfolio with new majors such as Financial Technology (Fintech), Digital Banking and Finance (Digital Banking and Finance), Corporate Finance, Investment Finance, Economic Law, International Trade Law./.
