Ban Thach Ward focuses on improving entrepreneurial capacity for startups

The congress marked the birth of a voluntary professional social organization, bringing together entrepreneurs, production facility owners and young startups in the area, together aiming at the goal of developing the local economy on a creative and sustainable basis.

The Ban Thach Ward Creative Entrepreneurship Association has 50 core members, representing many production sectors. The congress unanimously approved the charter, operating direction and elected an Executive Committee of 11 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao was elected as the Association's President.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thao said that in the 2025-2027 term, the association will focus on building a real connection environment between businesses and young start-up projects. It will focus on training and fostering management skills, digital transformation, e-commerce, the fundamental factors for startups to develop steadily.

"The Ward Creative Business and Startup Association is a place for members to learn together, share experiences, and solve common difficulties of small and medium enterprises. We aim to form a generation of startups with knowledge, social responsibility, and the ability to adapt to new markets," said Ms. Thao.

The Ban Thach Ward Creative Entrepreneurship Association aims to develop at least 20 new members each year. Maintain regular "Entrepreneur Coffee" programs to exchange business models, learn management skills, marketing and digital transformation.

During the term, 10 forums and seminars will be organized; and the Department of Science and Technology will coordinate to deploy training courses on creative startups, capital calling skills and product commercialization.

Each year, the association will incubate and support 2-3 potential start-up projects, creating the premise for forming new economic models linked to market needs.

Mr. Duong Van Tuan, Chairman of Ban Thach Ward People's Committee, highly appreciated the pioneering spirit of young entrepreneurs; at the same time, affirmed that the local government will continue to accompany and create favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms, working space and resources for the association to promote its role as a bridge between businesses - government - community.
