At the same time, 14 households and 38 people in the area at risk of being affected by high tides in Long Thuy quarter were mobilized to urgently collect necessary belongings and assets and move to a safe location at Tran Cao Van Secondary School for temporary shelter, avoiding damage caused by the storm.
The evacuation was completed before 12 noon today (November 6). Boats in the sea area were also brought ashore and tied safely.

The ward recommends that households in Dong hamlet, Thuong Phu quarter, proactively move agricultural products and necessary items to higher places to prevent flooding.

The locality also continuously issues warnings to people about areas and spillways at risk of rapid water flow, areas at risk of landslides, and roads at risk of deep flooding such as Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Da Ban Street, Phu Vang inter-neighborhood road to Thuong Phu and Phu An; Mau Than Street, Hung Vuong Street... so that people know and take precautions.
