(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of August 29, at the Children's Cultural Palace and Hac Thanh Sports Center, the People's Committee of Hac Thanh Ward organized cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Attending the program were comrade Le Anh Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Hac Thanh ward; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and a number of departments and branches.

According to the plan, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, at the Children's Cultural Palace and Hac Thanh Sports Center, many activities will take place such as: Art Festival; launching a program for the whole population to practice swimming to prevent drowning and opening a swimming class for children; exchanges in chess, badminton, table tennis...

This morning, the art festival was organized, attracting the participation of 11 units in Hac Thanh ward. The art performances were elaborately and uniquely staged, praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh , love for the homeland and country... Thereby expressing patriotism, deep gratitude and pride in the heroic and resilient Vietnam in fighting, building and defending the Fatherland.

The Children's Cultural Palace and the Hac Thanh Sports Center are located in Vinhomes Star City Urban Area. The project started construction in May 2024 on a 4.1-hectare land area, consisting of two components: the Children's Cultural Palace and the Sports Center, invested by the Thanh Hoa City Construction Investment Project Management Board (now the Dong Son Area Project Management Board).

The project stands out with its modern architecture and unique design. The highlight is the 7-storey building, the center of the Children's Cultural Palace, where chess, Chinese chess, musical instruments, dance, aerobics classes are held... The auxiliary area includes a 3-storey building, a 300-seat gymnasium and a covered physical training area.

The Sports Center is invested synchronously with an indoor swimming pool, artificial football field, tennis court, basketball court... In which, the swimming pool is designed with a unique steel frame dome, water surface area of ^​​500m2 with 8 standard swimming lanes, qualified to organize youth and children's tournaments.

Right next to the multi-purpose stadium is a colorful outdoor water music playground. The spaces are scientifically organized, flexibly connected, convenient for long-term management and use.
