Hoi Phu Ward (new) was established on the basis of the arrangement of the original status of 3 administrative units, including: Tra Ba Ward, Chi Lang Ward and Hoi Phu Ward (old). The ward has a natural area of nearly 35 km2, a population of 46,358 people, of which ethnic minorities account for 13% of the population.
Hoi Phu Ward Party Committee has 46 grassroots party organizations with 1,248 party members. According to the report of Hoi Phu Ward leaders at the working session, after the merger, Hoi Phu Ward has taken steps to operate the organizational apparatus in accordance with the regulations and policies of the Central and the province.
However, according to the leader of Hoi Phu ward, in the early stages of operating under the 2-level local government model, the ward still encountered some difficulties and problems, such as: The volume of decentralized and delegated work was large, so officials and civil servants needed time to approach and research; the continued implementation of programs and projects encountered difficulties in terms of capital; access to online public services for a large number of people, especially the elderly and ethnic minorities, was still difficult due to limited skills in using computers and the internet, etc.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan emphasized: Hoi Phu Ward is one of 35 communes and wards in Gia Lai province (old) identified by the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee as a driving force for economic development; the ward has favorable geographical conditions and a stable staff. Therefore, in the coming time, Hoi Phu Ward needs to have high political determination in performing assigned tasks, taking advantage of advantages to develop in the new period.
Regarding the difficulties, problems and proposals of Hoi Phu ward at the working session, comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan assigned the departments, branches and units of the province to take the lead in coordinating to resolve and remove them according to their authority. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan requested that the Hoi Phu ward Party Committee seriously prepare the contents to soon organize the Party Congress of the ward for the term 2025-2030.
During the working trip, Comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan directly inspected the operation of the Hoi Phu Ward Public Administration Service Center. The inspection showed that the Center has been fully staffed and equipped to operate smoothly, ensuring service to the people and businesses.
From July 1, 2025 to present, Hoi Phu Ward Public Administration Service Center has received 499 records, of which 249 records have returned results and 250 records are being processed within the deadline.
