Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra Ward, emphasized: "The month of action for people in disaster areas" is not only a timely campaign, but also a reminder of the spirit of sharing and mutual assistance in life.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra Ward calls on member organizations and the Residential Area Front Working Committee to continue promoting the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". At the same time, the Ward Front proactively mobilizes local resources to care for and support difficult circumstances in the area, in order to foster a spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community.

At the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra Ward mobilized funds from donors to present 22 gifts to disadvantaged households affected by natural disasters. Each gift included rice, instant noodles and VND500,000 in cash.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Huong Tra ward mobilized cadres, people, agencies, units, organizations and businesses in the area, collecting nearly 350 million VND.

After the launching ceremony, people in 20 residential areas in Huong Tra district simultaneously joined forces to clear sewers, collect garbage and clean village roads and alleys after floods.
Along with that, the Ward Front established two groups including youth union members, women's union members, veterans and farmers to clean up two public roads of the ward.
