Phuong My Chi: "poor" but values memories

At the sharing session about the School tour project "Flying Stork Universe" taking place on the afternoon of August 20, singer Phuong My Chi said that the project includes a series of Phuong My Chi's music nights at high schools and universities across 3 main provinces and cities across the country: Hanoi , Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

"I am passionate about this project to dedicate to students. As a young person who loves traditional culture, I want to convey more of the beauty and values of culture. I want to spread Vietnamese music and national identity to Vietnamese and international audiences, especially young people" - Phuong My Chi shared.

The 3 locations for the School Tour "Flying Stork Universe" 2024 will be in Hanoi (September 21, 22), Da Nang (October 5, 6), Ho Chi Minh City (October 19, 20) and each show will last about 2 hours.

The opening night will be held on September 22 at the University of Foreign Languages (Hanoi). The tour stops in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City are "kept secret" and will be announced on the company's official website.

Fans are all happy, excited and looking forward to this upcoming grand event of Phuong My Chi.

Although the company invested 10 billion VND for the tour, Phuong My Chi did not want to sell tickets to student audiences. According to her, what she wanted were beautiful memories with her audience. Moreover, "Chi is still a student so she understands that buying tickets to concerts is difficult at this time. When she graduates and starts working, her friends will buy tickets to support Chi later. And now, although Chi is still poor, to Chi, beautiful memories are important."

20 years old but 10 years in the profession, Phuong My Chi marked the 10-year milestone with an album that proves the spirit of a young artist who loves traditional culture while still keeping up with the changes of the times, which is very proud.

"2023 is a time that teaches Chi many things: responsibility to the audience, teammates, herself, patience, gratitude, accepting things that don't go as planned and being strong enough to overcome them. The audience's acceptance and support will give Chi more motivation to carry out the School Tour 2024 project" - Phuong My Chi said.

The music in School Tour 2024 will include old songs from the album "Vu tru Co bay" and completely new songs. The four songs are respectively: "Luom", "Buon trang", "Con co va mat troi", "Rock hat gao". The songs are all composed by Phuong My Chi and the DTAP group, still taking names from literary works and traditional Vietnamese cultural elements, a fusion of traditional and modern musical colors.

The four songs still maintain the general spirit of the album and School Tour "Vũ vũ Cò bay", continuing the literary and artistic stories to make "Vũ vũ Cò bay" more complete and impressive.
