More than 100 collectives, individuals and philanthropists of Phu Lien ward, Hai Phong city have registered to donate more than 1.5 billion VND to the ward's 'For the Poor' fund in 2025.

Responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", the peak month "For the poor", on the morning of November 5, Phu Lien ward organized a launch to support the "For the poor" fund in 2025.

The program takes place from October 17 to November 18, 2025 in the spirit of volunteerism and mutual love.

As of the morning of November 5, more than 100 groups, individuals, and philanthropists had registered to support the ward's "For the Poor" fund in 2025 with a total value of more than 1.5 billion VND.

Phu Lien Ward currently has 197 near-poor households and many households in difficult circumstances. From the "For the Poor" fund, the ward supports seeds and capital for the poor to develop their economy , gives scholarships to poor students, and subsidizes families and individuals in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances...

In 2024, the ward's "For the Poor" Fund mobilized more than 800 million VND, supporting the construction of 14 new houses and repairing 18 houses for households in difficult circumstances, with a total cost of more than 1.27 billion VND.
