Vietnam’s official participation in the world pickleball finals is a historic milestone. The information posted on the tournament’s homepage has caused a stir in the domestic sports community, because this is not only a big step forward but also a clear demonstration of the strong explosion of pickleball in the country.

According to information from the Asian Pickleball Federation (AFP), the delegation of 11 outstanding young athletes representing the continent at the Jenius Bank 2025 World Pickleball Championship will be led by two youth regional directors of the Federation, Mr. Truong Quang Vu and Mr. Jean Pierre Huynh Phu Qui.
The participating forces were carefully selected from countries with developed pickleball movements, in which Vietnam contributed an overwhelming number. 8 talented young faces include: Le Bao Lam, Tran Duc Khang, Pham Hoai Anh, Tran Ho Dan Thanh, Dan Linh Huong, Nguyen Ngoc Tung Bach, Le Vu Phat Loc and Huynh Phuc Khang.
The remaining three athletes are talents from Japan, including Kei Sawaki, Yuna Horii, and Saki Chiharu.
The Jenius Bank 2025 World Pickleball Championship will take place from October 27 to November 2 at The FORT Pickleball, Florida (USA). This large-scale event is expected to attract more than 3,000 athletes from more than 60 countries around the world.
This is a strategic partnership with the World Pickleball Federation, aiming to standardize the competition system and promote global recognition for this growing sport.
The World Pickleball Championships will feature young players competing in men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles. The highlight of the tournament will be a special friendly match between Team Asia and Team USA, called "Team Asia vs Team USA Junior Showcase", which promises to be dramatic and exciting.
