Vietnam's official participation in the World Pickleball Finals is a historic milestone. The news, published on the tournament's website, has caused a stir in the domestic sports community, as it represents not only a significant step forward but also clear evidence of the strong resurgence of pickleball in Vietnam.

According to information from the Asian Pickleball Federation (AFP), the team of 11 outstanding young athletes representing the continent at the Jenius Bank World Pickleball Championship 2025 will be led by two regional youth directors of the Federation, Mr. Truong Quang Vu and Mr. Jean Pierre Huynh Phu Qui.
The participating team was carefully selected from countries with developed pickleball movements, with Vietnam contributing an overwhelming number. The 8 talented young players include: Le Bao Lam, Tran Duc Khang, Pham Hoai Anh, Tran Ho Dan Thanh, Dan Linh Huong, Nguyen Ngoc Tung Bach, Le Vu Phat Loc, and Huynh Phuc Khang.
The remaining three athletes are talented individuals from Japan: Kei Sawaki, Yuna Horii, and Saki Chiharu.
The Jenius Bank World Pickleball Championship 2025 will take place from October 27th to November 2nd at The Fort Pickleball in Florida, USA. This large-scale event is expected to attract more than 3,000 athletes from over 60 countries worldwide.
This is a strategic partnership with the World Pickleball Federation, aimed at standardizing the competition system and promoting global recognition for this rapidly growing sport.
Young players at the World Pickleball Championships will compete in men's singles, women's singles, and mixed doubles. A highlight of the tournament is a special exhibition match between Team Asia and Team USA, titled "Team Asia vs Team USA Junior Showcase," promising exciting and dramatic confrontations.
