Tay Ho District rewards individuals with "Old Age

According to Chairwoman of the Tay Ho District Elderly Association Tran Thi Thu Huong, responding to the emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" in the period of 2021-2025, the Elderly Associations at all levels in the district have promoted the emulation movement, making many positive contributions in all areas of social life.

There have been 3,096 elderly people participating in protecting social order and safety and national security, providing 1,844 pieces of information for the police force to handle promptly and effectively, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

Currently, in the district, there are 2,090 elderly people who own production facilities, businesses, grow ornamental plants, do traditional jobs, do small business... of which 285 elderly people are good at economics ...

With these results, the Tay Ho District Elderly Association was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Elderly Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen The Toan, Chairman of the Hanoi City Association of the Elderly, congratulated and commended the outstanding achievements of the officials, members and organizations of the Association of the Elderly at all levels in Tay Ho district.

The Chairman of the City Elderly Association requested the Tay Ho District Elderly Association to continue promoting the patriotic emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; actively mobilizing members and people to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies; continuing to coordinate with relevant agencies to do a good job of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members.

At the ceremony, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly awarded Commemorative Medals to 6 individuals who have made many contributions to the cause of caring for the elderly in Vietnam.

The City Elderly Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals; Tay Ho District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 30 individuals; Tay Ho District Elderly Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives with achievements.
