Promoting National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 with many special activities

The details of the task "Organizing tourism promotion activities on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025" which was just approved by the leader of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, clearly establishes that this role is not only a series of promotional events, but also a national cultural - economic - tourism connection strategy, aiming to make Hue become the leading center of heritage, cultural and resort tourism in the region.

The program will be integrated with Hue Festival 2025 and other key events such as the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Thua Thien Hue province (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025) and the celebration of the historical turning point when Hue becomes a centrally-governed city.

Accordingly, the event will include the main activities: Culinary Festival "Hue - Culinary Capital" within the framework of National Tourism Year - Hue 2025; International Chef Competition 2025; National Conference on Net Zero tourism - current trend in Vietnam and the world ; Organizing domestic and international travel business delegations to survey destinations in Hue city.

The leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested to ensure close coordination between relevant units in organizing tourism promotion activities on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025; with the response and active participation of ministries, departments, branches, localities; businesses, organizations, individuals operating in the tourism sector or related as well as the support of people nationwide.

Activities are arranged scientifically, harmoniously, creatively, with profound and attractive content, expressing the characteristics of Hue culture, land and people; socialization work is well implemented, ensuring timeliness.

National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 is not only a stage to showcase the beauty of the heritage, festivals and cuisine of the Ancient Capital, but is also oriented as a meeting point between the past and the future, where cultural identity is transformed into sustainable economic value.

Held annually in localities with outstanding tourism potential, the National Tourism Year is a typical cultural, economic and social event of national and international scale. Therefore, this event not only contributes to introducing and promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism to international friends but also creates a strong push for sustainable tourism development, associated with promoting the economy, culture and society in the host locality as well as the whole country.

The objective of the detailed outline of the tasks is to introduce and promote the culinary culture, people, and tourism image of Vietnam in general and Hue city in particular, contributing to inviting and retaining tourists when they come to travel, visit, and experience.

Preserve, maintain and promote tangible and intangible cultural values to build distinctive, unique and distinctive tourism products and services of Vietnam in general and Hue city in particular; create breakthroughs in tourism development, attract a large number of domestic and international tourists…/.
