Thua Thien-Hue: 5 students suspected of food poisoning have been discharged from hospital

Previously, on September 11, 5 students from Hue University of Education showed signs of food poisoning such as vomiting, fatigue, and stomachache and were hospitalized at Huong Thuy Medical Center.

On September 12, a representative of Huong Thuy Medical Center (Hue City) confirmed that 5 students from the University of Education - Hue University with signs of food poisoning who were admitted by the Center were all discharged from the hospital this morning.

Doctor Vo Phi Long, Director of Huong Thuy Medical Center ( Hue City) said that on September 11, the Center received and treated 5 students (from Hue University of Education) showing signs of food poisoning.

Upon admission, the students all experienced vomiting, fatigue, and stomach aches. These students were studying at the Center for National Defense and Security Education - Hue University (Phu Bai Ward, Hue City).

According to the Director of Huong Thuy Medical Center, on the morning of September 12, 5 students recovered their health, so the Medical Center discharged them from the hospital.

The cause of suspected food poisoning among students is being investigated and clarified by authorities./.
