According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, on the evening of October 28, the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi , successfully concluding the working trip to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit and related Summits from October 26-28 at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
During his three days in Kuala Lumpur, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a busy schedule with nearly 50 multilateral and bilateral activities, including attending ASEAN conferences and events, ASEAN conferences with partners, and having bilateral meetings with most leaders of ASEAN countries, ASEAN partner countries and international organizations attending the Conference.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's participation and practical contributions at the 47th ASEAN Summit and related Summits demonstrate the strategic importance of ASEAN in Vietnam's foreign policy; continuing to convey a strong message of a proactive and active Vietnam, contributing responsibly with member countries to build a united, self-reliant, inclusive and sustainable ASEAN Community; while maintaining and strengthening the central role and promoting ASEAN's responsible voice for peace , stability and development in the region and the world.
In particular, on this occasion, through bilateral meetings between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of countries and organizations, the two sides agreed on new cooperation directions, meeting the requirements of both sides in the new development period, in new fields.
The results of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's working trip continued to effectively implement the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress, Conclusion 59-KL/TW of the Politburo on orientations for ASEAN participation until 2030 and Directive 25-CT/TW of the Secretariat on promoting and elevating multilateral diplomacy until 2030, Resolution 59-NQ/TW of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation./.
