Quang Ha: "Music is where I express my emotional experiences"

(Dan Tri) - Having gone through many love affairs, Quang Ha said that life's emotions are a true source of musical inspiration that helps him touch the hearts of the audience.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter about his inspiration for composing and performing music , Quang Ha said: “Life emotions and past love affairs all help me convey my true feelings into music. When I sing, I want listeners to feel my own heart.”

The vibrations in love, both happy and broken, according to Quang Ha, have always been the material that nourishes his music. Each love affair that passes leaves an echo, becoming a catalyst that helps Quang Ha sing with more genuine emotions.

From that inspiration, Quang Ha continues to convey in the newly released MV, "Manh tinh sai doi". The MV is a collaboration between him and the group 89G Team and producer Le Cuong, the person behind many hits such as: Looking towards you, It's been a long time since I cried, Canh hoa wilted...

In the MV, Quang Ha transforms into a teacher who loves painting and accidentally falls into a love affair that goes beyond the limits with his student.

The seemingly fairy tale story suddenly broke apart when another guy appeared, pushing them into a whirlwind of a stormy love triangle. The twenty-year-old girl, attracted by the glamour, fell into a whirlwind love affair, only to receive bitterness when she got pregnant and was rejected.

“I hope the story in The Wrong Love will be a warning to young hearts to cherish sincere love and be alert to temptation, because sometimes regret comes too late,” Quang Ha expressed.

For Quang Ha, music is sincerity, not a tool to satisfy temporary tastes. This point of view helps him maintain stability, creative freedom and not be influenced by market pressure.

“In the midst of a volatile music market, I always keep a private space for myself, where I can let myself indulge in my emotions and love stories. That not only helps me be more sustainable, but also maintains my personal identity in each product,” he said.

Throughout his 25 years of singing, the male singer has always found sympathy and sublimation through pop ballad music - the forte that has made his name.

“Ballad is my own voice, where I can easily express the most subtle emotions, from gentle, quiet to poignant, haunting,” Quang Ha confided. While many artists choose to innovate revolutionary music to reach young audiences, he remains steadfast on his own path, serving loyal audiences, companions and those who understand his music.

Although he is attached to pop ballads, Quang Ha is not afraid to try other colors, including revolutionary music.

“Revolutionary music is also an interesting challenge. I can still sing it, it’s just a difference in the way I express and convey my emotions. If I come across a good, suitable red song, I’m willing to try it,” the male singer said.

Quang Ha added that he is preparing a new album with a variety of musical colors. In the upcoming projects, the audience will enjoy songs with epic, cosmic and operatic sounds, opening up a rich musical journey, but still keeping the personal mark and emotions from the male singer's love experiences.

On the occasion of 25 years of singing, Quang Ha also revealed plans to organize a large-scale personal live show, expected to perform about 25 songs.

Quang Ha (born 1981) real name is Vu Hoang Ha, in Hanoi , is the son of musician Vu Cam.
