Quang Nam fireworks display to celebrate 50th anniversary of Provincial Liberation Day

Kinhtedothi - The highlight of the 50th anniversary celebration of Quang Nam Province's Liberation Day is a special art program and high-altitude fireworks display.

On the afternoon of March 4, Quang Nam held a press conference to announce activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).

Mr. Phan Thai Binh , Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, said that the province will support each residential area with 15 million VND. This is a catalyst to arouse pride, motivate the entire political system, the army and the people to join together, and arouse solidarity and unity among the entire people.

Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh pointed out some important activities of the celebration.

This is a broad political activity of the entire Party and people in the province. Therefore, departments, branches and localities need to be responsible for carrying out their assigned tasks. Activities and programs must be deployed and directed effectively and qualitatively, mobilizing people to participate and respond.

The official celebration will be held at 8:00 p.m. on March 24 at 24/3 Square (Tam Ky City). The highlight will be a special art program and high-altitude fireworks display. In addition, there will be activities such as an exhibition of Quang Nam's socio-economic achievements and OCOP products at the Provincial Cultural Center; an introduction to the achievements of Quang Nam's armed forces; an international tourism conference - Quang Nam 2025 with the theme "Hoi An - My Son Heritage Route - Dong Giang Heaven's Gate"...

On this occasion, Quang Nam also organized many sideline activities such as repairing and upgrading martyrs' cemeteries, historical relics, implementing policies for people with meritorious services; agencies, units and localities organized gratitude activities; organized visits and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, wounded soldiers, families with meritorious services to the revolution.

For discussion, cultural, artistic and sports activities in villages, residential groups and residential areas in the province, it will take place from February to March 2025.
