In particular, the Quang Nam Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund will promptly advance the first payment for forest environmental services in 2025 to forest owners and commune People's Committees assigned to manage forests; support forest protection and development.
The Quang Nam Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund has completed the coordination work with the Forest Protection Department to work with the District Forest Protection Department, forest owners, and People's Committees of communes to support updating forest changes in the area of forest environmental service payment waiting for January 2025.
In addition, a conference was held to develop a sustainable forest management plan for the period 2025-2031 for the communities of Long Son village, Cao Son commune, Bac Tra My district; AGriih village, A Xan commune, Tay Giang district and Can Don village, Cha Val commune, Nam Giang district.
The Fund also focuses on propaganda work: Propaganda on television with 3 sections; propaganda on radio with 7 sections; propaganda in newspapers and magazines; organizing training for village communities to pay for forest environmental services; mobile propaganda and implementing environmentaleducation programs for students in Dai Loc and Bac Tra My districts.
In June 2025, the Quang Nam Provincial Forest Protection and Development Fund will continue to focus on inspecting and supervising the payment for forest environmental services in the first phase of 2025 at the Management Boards of protective forests and special-use forests; organizing training courses on geographic information system software (QGIS) and other software for forest owners and People's Committees of communes assigned to manage and protect forests; urging the collection of entrusted fees for forest environmental service users and collection of replacement forest planting.
