(QNO) - On the morning of May 12, the Director of Quang Nam Police held a conference to review and evaluate the results of the implementation of the target of issuing citizen identification cards (CCCD); installing and activating VNEID electronic identification accounts and ensuring that population data is "correct, complete, clean, and alive".
The conference was broadcast live to the police stations of districts, towns and cities across the province. After more than 20 days of implementing the emulation movement to complete the target of issuing CCCD, installing and activating electronic identification accounts and ensuring "correct, sufficient, clean and alive" population data, the police of units and localities, especially the commune-level police, have made efforts, determination, and have had many good and creative ways in performing their tasks, in line with the actual conditions of each locality.
Many important targets have been basically completed in a short time such as: updating the residence history for students taking the 2023 high school entrance exam reaching 100%, updating prisoner data reaching 100%; updating 9-digit ID cards; deleting duplicate information of citizens inside and outside the province. The whole province has reviewed and updated the management objects with a very high rate.
Quang Nam has also issued more than 1.3 million CCCDs and completed procedures to receive electronic identification records for 200,000 cases. At the same time, it has activated more than 75,000 electronic identification accounts.
At the conference, police units and localities participated in discussions to remove difficulties and obstacles, propose solutions and effective methods suitable for each locality to speed up progress, ensure completion of the target of issuing CCCD and installing and activating electronic identification in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Duc Dung - Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police commended and acknowledged the results of the 20-day emulation campaign. Police units and localities have demonstrated a sense of responsibility, overcoming all difficulties to concentrate their forces to work day and night and during the recent holidays to collect applications for CCCD issuance, electronic identification, ensuring that population data is "correct, complete, clean, and alive".
In the coming time, the Provincial Police Director will direct the police of units and localities to continue to have many solutions in line with the motto of "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every person" to propagate and mobilize people to complete the procedures for receiving documents for issuing CCCD, electronic identification accounts, especially activating electronic identification accounts so that people can enjoy services when using VNeID electronic identification accounts.
