Quang Nam proposes connecting civil status data to support first grade admission

(QNO) - The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just sent an official dispatch requesting the Ministry of Justice to support the connection of the National Electronic Civil Status Database for implementation.

The service "Notification of admission and proactive application for admission" according to the above request is implemented in An My and An Xuan wards (Tam Ky city).

According to the document, Quang Nam proposed to exploit the list of children born in 2019 who are old enough to enter grade 1, through a secure online connection (API) according to Vietnam's digital government standards.

The requested data is a copy of the electronic birth certificate, in the prescribed format, with detailed information in the appendices. Quang Nam Province commits to using the data for the right purposes, ensuring information security and complying with the law on personal privacy protection.

This service will automatically notify parents of admission, support quick document preparation, and reduce administrative procedures. This is a step forward in digital transformation in Quang Nam, helping parents save time and improve the efficiency of first grade enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year.
